Camp Coley Cookies and Cocoa
Date to be announced...We will hold our annual pizza party and have fun day.
Cookies and cocoa will be served in the afternoon. The day is a fun mix of things to do with no set schedule. Craft items are made for ourselves to bring home. Each year we select an organization in our community that can benefit from items we make at our three Camps throughout the year. Camp Coley Crafts and Community
Date to be announced...we will have a craft day where the girls will focus on one primary craft that benefits an organization in our community. In 2015, we made 100 fleece blankets benefiting PADS and TLS Veterans. In 2016, we made and painted cloth gift bags and wrapped gifts for the CASA organization. In 2017, 2018 and 2019 we made weighted pads and weighted jackets for Alexander Leigh Center for Autism. The primary craft for 2020 will benefit those in our community that are in need.
Camp Coley Library
We have also started a library of books relevant to this age group and addressing some of the issues girls their age face. The participants may go to the Camp Coley Library pages of this website and browse our collection of books. If they see a book they would like to borrow, they may then go to the Book Check-Out Form page, fill out the Book Check-Out Form and the book will be hand-delivered to their mailbox. When they are ready to return the book, they may then go to the Book Return Request Form page and the book will be picked-up by one of our members.
